Morgan is a few weeks away from her 1st birthday and last night, she walked behind her baby carriage/walker. Kim and I stood silently as she walked from the living into the kitchen. Finally, after 2 other kids, we caught this milestone on video. I am so incredibly proud of Morgan. She is a tough little girl. Morgan has been through so much and, yet, she is so happy and so funny. She now calls everyone Jack Jack! I love that girl!!

My book, Brown Babies Pink Parents, was published during the summer of 2010 and it has been so exciting to see the impact of the book on the adoption and foster care community.
